Garbage, Bulky Trash, Recycling

The City of Dallas Sanitation Services department provides pickup of garbage, bulky trash and recycling. To verify or learn your pickup days, visit the City of Dallas interactive map, enter your address and check the box (just below the box for zipcode) to list property information, city services, etc.  As of March 2012, the pickup day for both regular and recycling in Lakewood Heights is Monday.  Detailed information, including what will and will not be collected and holiday pickup schedules, is also found at the above website. 

Brush/Bulky Trash Pickup - Third Week (third Monday) of each month.

Putting out brush/bulky trash at the wrong time can be costly! Learn more at the City’s Bulky Trash department or call 311 if you’re unsure when to place your brush or bulky trash at curbside.  Place your items out on the front curb for collection no later than 7:00 A.M. the Monday of your pick-up week. It is also important to remember that items should not be set out for pick up earlier than 7:00 A.M. on the Thursday preceding your collection week.
