Pumpkins in the Park – Oct 22nd (11 a.m.)

Lakewood Heights Neighborhood Association will be sponsoring the 11th Annual Pumpkins in the Park on Saturday, October 22th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tietze Park pavilion. Just in time for Halloween, we will have our traditional pumpkin patch with parent-supervised pumpkin carving for older kids and pumpkin decorating for the younger set.
Pumpkin Carving & Decorating for all ages: We clean out the pumpkins before the kids arrive for good, clean carving fun! (Kids must be accompanied by an adult).
Chili Cook-off & Cookie Bake-off: Cook up a big batch of your personal chili (in a crock pot or other heated pot) and/or your favorite homemade cookies for a chance to win fun prizes for best in the neighborhood!
Everyone gets to taste & judge: Arrive with your entries at 11am. Results determined at 1:30pm. There will be prizes for Best All-around, 2nd place, & “Most Creative” for both food categories– not to mention BRAGGING RIGHTS!
Volunteers are needed to help prepare pumpkins on the Friday night before the event, as well as set up and clean up day of.
